Daily Devotion: May 14
Psalm 70:4
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified!”
As I entered the Lord’s throne room to hear from Him, He showed me in Psalms 69 our Lord’s suffering, the cross and the glory that awaits us, our hope. I said, Lord I can’t wait, come quickly. But Lord, how do I handle the NOW?
Then, as I read Psalms 70 He answered my prayer. Even though the enemy is always pounding on me, whether it’s through health, people or oppression, I can do just as verse 4 says, REJOICE and be GLAD in Thee and say, Lord God be MAGNIFIED!!!!!
I have to make a choice every day; let the enemy rob my joy or keep my eyes on Jesus and rejoice, be glad and magnify Him. O Lord, help me to be strong in You and serve you with all my heart.
